TCO20 ALGORITHM PROBLEM WRITING TRIP
We’re excited to bring back the incentive program for algorithm problem writers, both new and old! This program will run from October 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. You can earn points writing problems for the algorithm competitions. The winner from each stage will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to TCO20 in the USA!
PROBLEM WRITING POINTS AND TRIPS
You can submit your problems and earn points during any stage of TCO. All problems must be submitted correctly via the process explained here by midnight (12:00 am) Eastern time on the final day. All submitted problems will be reviewed by Topcoder. You will be notified if your submitted problem is accepted or rejected for possible use in a future competition. Only accepted problems will earn points. Problem acceptance and the assigned point value is at the sole discretion of Topcoder. Actual future problem usage may not reflect initial acceptance and point assignment.
With 100 points, you can win a trip to the 2020 TCO Finals (location to be revealed later in the year) and with 65 points you can win a trip the nearest regional to your location. There are a total of 6 trips to award, 3 trips to TCO20 Finals and 3 Trips to TCO20 Regional Events.

The Regional Trip will be awarded as a one-time reimbursement of a max of $500 for members travel and other logistics.
Points Bucket
The points will work as a points bucket to make you earn trips. Which means, in case you earn 165 points, you can use them for 1 TCO Finals Trip and 1 TCO Regional Trip.
Note: A member is only entitled to win 1 trip to TCO20 Finals and 1 Trip to TCO20 Regional Event.
Standard TCO eligibility also applies.

It’s important to note that you will be communicating via email to us at talgorithm@topcoder.com in addition to using the system to submit.
