Regionals Algorithm Competition

Algorithm Competition at Regionals will be more fierce than ever this year and will involve a Qualification Round followed up by a Bracket Styles - Single Elimination Tournament.

HOW WILL IT HAPPEN

The TCO20 Regionals Algorithm Competition is divided into two parts, the first one being the Qualifying Round. Everyone will have to compete in the qualifying round. It will be very similar to an SRM with a Challenge Phase and yes Three Problems (Difficulty Level Div 2)

Top 16 from that will be asked to compete in a Bracket-Style Single-Elimination Rounds. Where the 1st ranked member from the qualifying round will compete with 16th Ranked, 2nd with 15th, 3rd with 14th and so on. There will be three elimination 1 v/s 1 rounds. The loser will be eliminated - the last round will have 4 members and the best out of them will be announced as the winner. 16→ 8 → 4 → Winner.

The top 16 from the Qualification Round will qualify for the TCO20 Algorithm Wildcard Round which eventually will lead them to TCO20 Algorithm Finals.
